In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five business apps in the United States showed a diverse range of performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.7M in the week of December 19. Weekly downloads started strong at around 151K in late September but gradually declined to 125K by the end of December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 7.3M and ending at 6.4M.

Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, averaging around $700K, with a slight peak of $744K in mid-December. Downloads saw a small dip towards the end of the quarter, from 150K in late September to 122K in the last week of December. Active users decreased from 6.0M to 5.7M over the quarter.

iScanner: PDF & OCR Scanner showed consistent weekly revenue around $400K, with minor fluctuations. Weekly downloads started at approximately 62K in late September and ended at 45K by the end of December. Active users saw a downward trend, starting at 122K and finishing the quarter at 105K.

QuickBooks Accounting had stable weekly revenue, averaging around $400K, peaking at $437K in the week of November 28. Downloads were relatively steady, starting at 23K and ending at 24K. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 340K throughout the quarter.

LandGlide saw weekly revenue averaging around $230K, with a slight peak of $247K in late November. Downloads decreased significantly from 13K in late September to 8.8K by the end of December. Active users also dropped, from 14K at the start of the quarter to 9K by the end.
